From December 6 to 26, the International Medical Humanitarian Mission of Ekaterina Glok within the BRICS+ countries will take place in the Republic of Guinea and the Republic of Sierra Leone.

The team consists of 10 members — 9 medical specialists and a translator.

During the mission, the Russian team will conduct theoretical seminars and practical workshops for their African colleagues in the fields of obstetrics, neonatology, oncology, surgery, and dentistry.

The mission also plans to operate in remote areas of these countries, where the population has no access to modern medical care or the means to afford expensive treatment.

Ahead of the humanitarian mission, Ekaterina Glok’s team held a series of official meetings at the embassies of African countries, aimed at strengthening cooperation in healthcare and humanitarian support.

🤝 During the discussions, the following topics were addressed:
— organization of joint medical programs and patient consultations;
— development of telemedicine and training courses for African doctors;
— logistics and humanitarian support for the missions;
— strengthening ties between Russia and African countries within the BRICS+ framework.
